CASE STUDY #1

This patient was not happy with her smile. Her teeth were rotated, with an open bite. Her treatment included an Activated Light Force (ALF) Appliance and Invisalign to adjust her teeth and provide a beautiful smile.  Complimentary whitening is included with all Invisalign treatment.

Patient had misshapen and misaligned teeth.

Before:

  • Teeth angulated in different directions
  • Teeth appear to be different lengths
  • Bottom front teeth are 95% hidden

After:

 

  • Confident, natural looking and comfortable smile

CASE STUDY #2

This smile was treated with Activated Light Force appliances (ALFs) for 5 months and completed with Invisalign.

Before:

  • Crowding of front teeth
  • Square arch
  • Difficult to clean all the surfaces of the teeth

After: 

  • Teeth are fully aligned
  • Wide and broad arches
  • Easily cleansible

CASE STUDY #3

This smile was created in 2 phases. We used Alfs to expand the arches followed by Invisalign to align, level and upright the teeth.

Before:

  • Narrow V-shaped arches
  • Crowding of front teeth
  • Lower back teeth are tipped inward
  • Upper teeth are sloped with respect to the face

CASE STUDY #4

This smile was treated in 3 phases.

Phase 1: A bonded hyrax appliance with a tongue fence was used to prevent the tongue thrusting (the habit of pushing the tongue against teeth causing them to be pushed out and not erupt). 

Phase 2: Twin block appliance used to advance the lower jaw forward to create a balanced profile.

Phase 3: Invisalign treatment  to align and upright teeth.

Before: 

  • The front teeth do not touch (extreme anterior open bite)
  • Narrow arches
  • Top teeth were not visible in smile
  • Tongue thrust
  • Mouth breather

After:
 

  • Broad wide smile
  • Front teeth are fully visible in smile
  • Balanced occlusion
  • Swallow pattern corrected
  • Nose breathing rather that mouth breathing

CASE STUDY #5

This smile was created with fixed braces and zoom whitening.

Before:

  • Black hallways at the corners of the mouth
  • Very little of the upper teeth are displayed in smile
  • Deep bite

After:

  • Black hallways at the corners of the mouth
  • Very little of the upper teeth are displayed in smile
  • Deep bite
  • Lower arch appears wider then upper arch

CASE STUDY #6

This smile was treated with a sagittal appliance and Invisalign. The sagittal appliance was used to work with this child’s development and expand the arches to allow enough space for permanent teeth. Invisalign used to rotate and align permanent teeth.

Before:

  • Baby teeth still present
  • Narrow arches
  • Lower front teeth crowded
  • Not enough space for all the permanent teeth

After:

  • All adult teeth
  • Broad and wide smile
  • Teeth are aligned

This smile was created wth ALFS,  Invisalign and complementary whitening.

  • Crowding of front teeth
  • Teeth are not fully displayed

After:

  • Broad and wide arches
  • Teeth are aligned
  • More tooth structure is visible when smile

CASE STUDY #8

This smile was treated in 2 phases.

Phase 1:  Alfs expansion to widen arches.

Phase 2: Invisalign used to further  widen and broaden smile. Top and bottom left canine were in collision causing significant wear.

Before:

  • Narrow arches
  • Heavy pressure on front teeth creating heavy wear and pressure
  • Crowding of front teeth
  • Molars are not upright and are collapsed inward

After:

  • Broad and wide smile
  • Face appears more balanced
  • Increased display of teeth
  • Molars are upright

CASE STUDY #9

This smile was created in 2 phases. First, we used Homeoblock to expand the arches and help widen the high palate for better tongue posture. Then we used Invisalign to level the bite and rotate misaligned teeth.

Before:

  • Crowding of front teeth
  • Wear on front teeth due to misalignment of the top and bottom teeth
  • Narrow arches

After:

  • Better wider palate for better tongue posture for breathing pattern
  • Teeth are aligned and not at risk of wearing further due to the alignment of teeth
  • Wide and broad smile
