Dr. Nazanin Abbasi, D.D.S.
Dr. Nazanin Abbasi graduated from Tehran University, faculty of dentistry in 1989 and had her own successful business from 1990 until 2013 when she came to Canada with her family. She passed the Canadian Dental Board Licensing Exam at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Abbasi’s commitment to lifelong professional development has seen her complete additional courses in Holistic Dentistry, CeraRoot Ceramic Implants, Cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign® and Endodontics. Of note is her most recent (2023) certification from the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
Dr.Abbasi has also developed a special interest in metal-free implant and restorative dentistry. This involves following established biologic extraction protocols, optimized natural healing technologies, and using tissue-friendly materials. She is one of only a handful of Toronto dentists certified to perform CeraRoot implants, the holistic ceramic implant leader since 2011.
Dr.Abbasi is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Her humanitarian aid missions have included providing dental care to children’s orphanages in Iran. She and her husband and two children are active in the community and enjoy family time running and gardening.

Dr Abbasi has obtained her Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) certification from the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT). She has successfully completed the coursework related to mercury and the safe removal of amalgam fillings.
