Bernie Gryfe, D.D.S.

Bernie graduated in 1971 and had his own busy practice until 2002. He was Corporate Chief of Dentistry at the three Osler Medical Centre Hospitals, Etobicoke General Hospital, Peel Memorial Hospital and Georgetown Hospital. He has also worked at three correctional facilities, which he claims were the most fun he had in years. Bernie has taken upgrading courses in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Geriatric Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, and Implantology.

His philosophy has always been that humour and laughter are often the best medicine in treatment. Bernie has been with us since February 2003 and says that our office has rejuvenated his career. He has given lectures to physicians on Oral Trauma and has participated on the Ontario Health Care Revue Committee. Bernie was captain of the Etobicoke Generals Slo-Pitch Team in the yearly OMA tournament. His hobbies include jogging, cross country skiing, gardening, computers and his grandchildren. Bernie is from the famous Gryfe’s bagel family.
